This class will cover SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program. The 8(a) Program is a 9-year business development program administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration. By law, the Program has unique sole source authority—meaning federal agencies may execute direct contract awards to 8(a) certified firms so long as certain criteria are met.
Join representatives from the Oregon APEX Accelerator as well as the local SBA District Office to learn more about the 8(a) Program’s eligibility requirements, application process, how the Program works, and whether 8(a) certification may be a good fit for your small business.
